UniSA Permit FAQs

Here is a list of the questions we get asked most frequently, with their answers. If you don't find an answer to your question, please contact us.

Q: How can I apply for a permit?

Permits can be applied for via the UniSA V-Permit Portal. You will need to use your UniSA UserID and password to login to the portal.

Simply, select the type of permit that you wish to purchase and follow the steps through to completion.

You will be notified via email that your application has been submitted and when it is subsequently approved.

Q: Can I choose my own parking bay?

A parking bay will be allocated for you. You can advise of a preferred location which will be considered as part of the allocation process. Contact FM Assist on your campus for bay allocation.

Q: What do I do if I have applied for my permit but did not receive any email confirmation?

Check your email inbox thoroughly including your Junk folder to confirm that you have not received the notification. If you cannot find the email, please contact Parking Support on 08 8212 3422 or email parkingsupport@carepark.com.au

Q: Who do I contact for Salary Sacrifice issues?

Contact FM Assist by sending your email to parking@unisa.edu.au or call 83024055

Q: Will I be issued an official tax invoice and receipt?

Yes, these will be automatically emailed to your nominated email address once your permit application is approved.

Q: What happens if I accidentally chose the wrong permit?

Don't worry. As soon as you have realised that your application may have been submitted with an error, contact your campus FM assist office and inform them of the error. Your permit application will be rejected and you can attempt to purchase a new one once again.

If your application has already been approved, a refund can be arranged and a new application can be submitted.

Q: How do I request a refund?

Please contact your campus FM assist office to discuss your refund request.

Q: Who can I ask about the status of my Permit application?

You can check the status of any pending applications by logging into the UniSA V-Permit portal. Any pending permits will be displayed as soon as you log into the portal.

If you application has been rejected or not successfully submitted, you will immediately be presented with the ability to apply for a new permit.

If your application is pending, you will see a message informing you that your permit has not yet been approved.

You will know that your application has been successful when your permit is immediately displayed after logging in. Any approved permits will provide you the ability to manage and edit your vehicle details.

Q: What should I do if I can't log in?

The login fields are case sensitive, try logging in with the exact username that you signed up with, matching upper and lowercase letters. NOTE: Apple will automatically change any letter at the beginning of your ID to an Upper case letter e.g. bob123 is changed to Bob123.

If you still can't log in, make sure that you have synchronised your UniSA credentials via the UniSA staff portal and try again. If you still can't log in, please call Parking Support on 08 8212 3422 or email parkingsupport@carepark.com.au

Q: How do I update my vehicle details?

Once your permit has been approved, you will able to update your vehicle details by logging into the UniSA V-Permit portal. Alternatively you can email your new details to parkingsupport@carepark.com.au and our friendly team will assist you with this.

Q: Can I list more than one vehicle?

Yes. If you have access to and use more than one vehicle, you can list them so that they can be recognised as valid. The new registration has to be registered to the same address
