Improving school attendance and performance levels through the implementation of junior ranger programs in remote and regional schools. 6. Fulfilling threatened species program objectives and Western Australia’s national and international commitments to biodiversity conservation. 7. Meeting Council Of Australian Governments targets for Closing the Gap. 8. Progressing the Regional Services Reform program to improve the lives of Aboriginal people in regional and remote Western Australia. 9. Addressing long-running conflict with neighbouring properties through better resourcing and inclusive management. 10. Meeting the goals of the Commonwealth Indigenous Advancement Strategy and the Western Australian Aboriginal Economic Participation Strategy. Supporting programs that build a stronger Western Australia Creating Ranger Parks will help deliver important government financial and policy objectives. Most notably, it will assist the government toward: Australia’s Golden Outback Maintaining Western Australia’s pastoral heritage is a priority of the Create Ranger Parks proposal.
